The development of this website may mark the realization of a dream come true! Southwest Specialties was started in the year 2000 as a service to provide horse people with horse related products and services.

Having spent most of our lives in the horse industry we have a pretty good feel for what our customers want and need, whether it be a product made for a specific application, or a service. All of our products are and have been products that we have used at one time or another and have had great success with. We understand the importance of knowing whether or not what we sell has a value to the horse owner.

Our services cover the entire spectrum of the horse industry, from breeding, training and sales, to showing and judging, Equine Nutrition, Grooming Products, Equine Consulting, Equine related Fund Raising services, Awards Programs for Equine Competitions and Shows.

While we are still considered a small business, the growth that we have experienced over the past years has been phenomenal. We are realizing that our focus on good service and honesty has paid off!

We have recently added a few new products to our inventory which have proven to be exciting, not only to our customers but these are also products which we are currently using on our horses and we are seeing tremendous results. We’re very excited about working with many of the breed clubs across the country who have asked us to handle their awards programs for their larger shows as well as Year End Awards. Our relationships with the many providers we have done business with has become an asset not only to us but one that we can pass along to each and every club who’s awards we are handling!
